A bottle of Instant Antique that I purchased at a Quilt show years ago. It's purpose is to age fabric and it does take several minutes to dry on paper. I have a regular drinking straw, a coffee stirrer and blank envelopes
Spray a blob of the product and then use the straw/stirrer and blow. Get close to the surface.
Next use pens and markers to 'create' your imaginary animals and people. I think a mixed tea stain would work. Many prefer ink to start the imagination. The difference between some inks and the stains would be the opacity. The stain does allow you to draw the details with a darker color.
